Then rest, heal, and go back to fight him. If the Necromancer is about to kill you, say 'Open Sesame' for a quick escape. You should also try to have as high of Strength and Dexterity as you reasonably can. You can get 'Summon Creature' spell either by donating to the temple in town or finding it in the dungeon. Having a summoned creature gives you two attacks for every one from the Evil Necromancer. I would not take on the Evil Necromancer without: a couple uses of the 'Freeze' spell, a few uses of 'Fireball' spell (only use if the Evil Necromancer is frozen), a dozen or more uses of 'Heal' potion, Plate mail armor, a Great Sword or better weapon, at least 50 hit points, and a summoned creature to fight with you. Down a Strength Potion, Protection Potion, Speed Potion, and Intelligence Potion. Then 'open sesame' to get right back to Evil Necromancer. Then 'Pray' and hopefully you will get the divine blessing. Heal up fully, stock up on any potions you might need.

Once you find the Evil Necromancer, I recommend that you set up a Magic Portal outside his room. If you say the command 'Listen' before entering a room with him, you will hear 'evil laughter.' There is only one Evil Necromancer, and the goal of the game is to find and kill him. He is usually in one of the large rooms (see maps).
